It was July 21st 1998 and I met my net friend Michele for the first time at my hostel. She came with her parents and I was with my friends Angie and Kim. We took the underground to Noel's neighorhood and waited in front of Supernova Heights. Some guy working on their fence said that Meg just left and Noel was sleeping. We waited for a few minutes and as soon as the paparazzi van went away (yes, the paparazzi waits outside their homes, isn't that sick?) We heard a "Hello" and turned around and it was NOEL! My first impression- He needs a haircut! *lol* I said (quite stupidly) "I love Oasis! You guys are the best!" and he looked at me and said "Well, I think so too!" and then I gave him two of my CDs and he autographed them for me!
Then he autographed Michele's magazine. He told me that he was in the country and recording some demos and new songs, "But the country's boring, so I came back here for awhile", he said. "I spent less time here [Supernova Heights] than I do in other places." Michele's friend has a band, so Noel gave her an address (and an important one too!) so the band has a record company. I saw his cat Hedges (it's grey and white) and I asked him if he has 4 dogs and he said "No, five!" and I was wondering how they lived in that tiny house and Noel laughed and he "No, they live in in the country!" So I made Noel laugh *hee*.
Then I asked "Could I have my picture taken with you?" and he said "Of course, but I have to go out front." (he was behind the gate still). Then I gave him a package from the Meg Rocks Club and said "This is for your wife." and he said "Meg!? Oh okay" (he wasn't jealous at all *lol*) and Michele gave him a package. Then he came out front and asked "So, you want your picture with me?" His shirt was a unbuttoned on the top so I kept staring at his silver necklace and his chest hair, wonder if he noticed?? Probably didn't care *lol*.
So as I was getting my picture with him I kept thinking "I'm standing next to Noel Gallagher! (that's why I was smiling so big!) Even my friends Angie and Kim got their pictures with him! The picture of Noel and Kim is on your left. She doesn't even like Oasis! Do you think Noel can tell? ;o)
Then we said good-bye and walked away. We went to Liam's house and "met" Patsy but that's a whole different story! We waited for Liam for 3 HOURS and he never came out :o( but Kim got a guy named Marco and you can see them on my look-a-likes page. Even my dad thought it was Liam himself!
